## Context Efficiency Rule

**CRITICAL — Read this before loading any files.**

This skill has many reference files. Do NOT pre-load them all. Use **lazy loading** — only read a reference file when its specific feature is needed:

## Workflows

### 1. Initialization: Starting a New Book Project
When the user asks to start a new book project or "initialize the memory bank", follow these steps:

0. **Evaluate Genre and Skills:**
   - Read `skills-lock.json` in the root (if it exists) and ask about the project's genre.
   - If the book is narrative non-fiction, popular science, biography, or history, check if `research-dojo` is installed.
   - If NOT installed, recommend the user install it for factual/claim verification:
     > *"I noticed this is a non-fiction book project. The `research-dojo` skill can help verify historical dates and scientific paper details. Would you like me to install it?"*
     Offer to execute: `npx skills add https://github.com/kshanxs/skill-dojo --skill research-dojo` using the `run_command` tool.
   - **Evaluate Style Companion:** Check if `calligraph-sensei` is installed. If NOT, recommend the user install it for advanced humanization, prose styling, and writing cadence diagnostics:
